Mobile Number Verification and Two-Factor Authentication

To help keep your account secure, we’ve introduced mobile number verification and two-factor authentication (2FA) for added protection.

New customers will now be asked to verify their mobile number using a One-Time Passcode (OTP) before completing registration. This helps confirm your identity and adds an extra layer of security to your account.

After registering, you may also be asked to verify your account again if you:

  • Log in from a new device
  • Change your mobile number in your account settings

These security steps help protect your account and ensure that only you can access it.

Make sure your mobile number is kept up to date to avoid any issues with login or account access.

On the other hand, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds extra protection to your account by requiring a second step, usually a code sent to your phone via an App. This helps keep your account safe from unauthorised access even further.

A step-by-step guide:

  • Try logging in—if prompted, hit “Continue” to start 2FA setup.
  • Enter your mobile number and tap “Send code.”
  • Check your phone for a One-Time Passcode (OTP) via text.
  • Enter the OTP to verify your number.
  • If no OTP arrives, try rebooting your phone, clearing inbox, or checking SMS settings.

Other tips:

  • Change number: Go to Account Details, enter new number, verify with new OTP.
  • Disable 2FA: Go to Settings > Two-Factor Authentication, tap “Disable Now”, and enter your password.
