Basketball

(Last updated: 06.10.2025)

Aside from the following special betting rules, the common betting rules apply. The special rules will take precedence over the common rules nevertheless.

1.) Overtime: If not otherwise stated, bets will be settled on the result including overtime, e.g. bets referring to the second half.

1.a.) 1st half contains quarter 1 and quarter 2, 2nd half contains quarter 3 and quarter 4. Overtime does not count for bets concerning the 4th quarter unless otherwise stated.

2.) Playing Time: If the match is abandoned at any time then all bets will be void, except bets that were already decided at the time of abandonment. Except in the below cases:

If the match is abandoned before the end of the official outcome, the results are regarded to be official if less than 5 minutes are left at the time of abandonment, e.g.

  • “43” minutes of play e.g. for NBA (48 minutes regular playing time)
  • “35” minutes of play e.g. for WNBA, NCAAB, FIBA (40 minutes regular playing time)

3.) Highest Scoring Quarter: All four quarters of play must be completed. Overtime does not count. If the game is abandoned then all bets will be void unless there have already been scored most points in the 4th quarter at the time of abandonment. In the event of a tie between 2 or more quarters then dead-heat rules apply. Highest Scoring Half: Both halves of play must be completed. Overtime does not count. If the game is abandoned then all bets will be void unless there have already been scored most points in the 2nd half at the time of abandonment. In the event of both halves having the same amount of total points bets will be void.

4.) Date of event: All games must be played on the scheduled calendar day (at venue) and at the scheduled venue. Otherwise all bets on the game will be void.

5.) Half Time / Full Time: Overtime does not count.

6.) Highest Team Points (Group betting): If a team is involved in an abandoned event then the points this team has made before abandonment do count and all bets are valid. If one of the involved teams´ matches does not start on the scheduled calendar day (at venue) and venue for whatever reasons then all bets will be void.

7.) First Foul in the Game/Half/Quarter: This bet refers to all kinds of fouls – including personal and technical fouls. This rule also applies to subsequent fouls.

8.) First Foul Out: Bets will be settled on the first player to be “fouled out” as a result of 6 fouls in “American” and 5 fouls in “Non-American” Basketball called against the player in the game. Technical fouls and ejections do not count for this bet.

9.) Division Champions: If the season is shortened for any reason then bets will be settled based on the Division Champion declared by the respective governing authority.

10.) Drawn Match If No Draw Odds Offered: If a moneyline, total or handicap bet ends in a draw and no odds have been offered for this option, all bets will be void.

11.) “Grand Salami”/NBA: This bet refers to the total number of points scored over all the matches played on a given day. Only games played on the day (according to the NBA schedule) count. Should any games be postponed or any games added to the schedule after the initial odds have been posted, then all bets will be void. Should any games be abandoned during play then all bets will be void.

12.) All results will be taken from the official statistics by the official websites for each league (i.e. box scores) and also be based on recordings of live games. In case the company's statistics (based on TV coverage) differ from the official statistics, bets will be settled according to the company's statistics.

13.) Player special bets: the respective player must compete in the game for bets to stand. For these or similar markets, concerning individual player's match stats, overtime is included; with match / group bets on players' totals, dead heat rules will apply. To Record a Double-Double - Player must record 10 or more in TWO of the following 5 statistical categories: Points, Rebounds, Assists, Blocks, Steals.
To Record a Triple-Double - Player must record 10 or more in THREE of the following 5 statistical categories: Points, Rebounds, Assists, Blocks, Steals.

14.) Full Time result with Handicap: Select which team who will win the match, by taking into account the handicap. Over time will be included.

15.) Half Time Handicap: You need to select the team that will be leading on the handicap at half-time.

16.) Over/Under: You need to predict whether the total number of points scored in a match will be over or under the stated number. Over time will be included unless otherwise stated.

17.) Half-Time Result / Full Time Result (& Draw Price): The following rules apply: where we offer two way betting on the final result, without a draw price, then bets will be settled on the eventual winner of the match, including any overtime / extra-time played; you need to predict which team will win the first half and which team will win the match, i.e. the full time result

18.) Race to 10, 20 & 50 points: You need to predict which team will get to 10, 20 or 50 points first. However, if neither team reaches the specified points total then bets are void.

19.) Half / Quarterly Betting Prices: The following rules apply: prices are offered on which team will win a specific quarter / half irrespective of the score going into that period;
if the score in that period is a tie, then bets on both sides are void except where a price has been offered for a draw; overtime is not included for 4th quarter betting;
bets void if specified period is not completed unless result is already determined.

20.) Player Regular Season Specials & Match Bets:
A named player must meet the relevant qualifying criteria below for bets to stand, otherwise bets on that player will be made void.
Total points / rebounds / assists / steals / blocks / fouls / turnovers / 3-point field goals - player must play in at least 10 regular season games
Average points / rebounds / assists / steals / blocks / fouls / turnovers per game - player must play in at least 70% of his team's regular season games
Average field goal percentage - player must make at least 300 field goals during the season
Average 3-point percentage - player must make at least 82 3-point field goals during the season

All averages will be rounded to 1 decimal point for settlement purposes.

Basketball Build a Bet Rules

Selection and Bet Results

All basketball selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within this document, will be settled as a loser.

For instance, selections on a team to win a match where it is a draw after overtime (or normal time if no overtime is to be played), even where the draw or tie may not have been offered through Build A Bet, will be settled as losers. This will not be relevant to NBA or NBL matches as they play repeated overtime periods until a team wins but may be applicable to other basketball leagues or competitions as per their individual competition rules. Similarly, ‘Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not.

Overtime

All basketball matches will be settled on the official declared result including any overtime.

Second Half / Fourth Quarter Markets

All second half and fourth quarter market selections do include overtime periods if they occur. For example, a total second half points selection would include the points scored in both the second half and any overtime periods played.

Player-specific markets

All player selections will be considered active if a player enters the court as an active player at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player never enters the court during a match, selections specific to that player will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to score 10.5+ points in the second half would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player played the first two minutes of a match, was injured, and did not return to the game, regardless of having never been on the court during the second half. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the starting lineup (or bench) and never took to the court, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

Postponed and Incomplete Matches

Where a match is postponed or incomplete, and subsequently resumed or played within 24 hours (inclusive) of the original scheduled start time, all bets will stand. All bets placed on games played which commence more than 24 hours past the originally scheduled start time will be void. Once the 24 hours have expired, all bets are void and stakes will be refunded.

Abandoned Matches

If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the 48-hour rule for postponed matches as described above. If it is abandoned after commencing but before its natural end point, the following rules apply:

  • Build A Bets will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the court as an active player. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.
  • If every selection within a Build A Bet on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the Build A Bet in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg Build A Bet containing an over total points selection and a certain player to score 10.5+ points, in a game where the required points have been reached and the player did score more than 10 points before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total points selection where a game is abandoned while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.
  • If a single selection of a Build A Bet has lost and a match is then abandoned, the Build A Bet will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, a Build A Bet including a first player to score selection, in a game where a different player scored first and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost, and this outcome could not be affected in any way by whether the game was subsequently abandoned or not.
  • If there are no losing selections within a Build A Bet and at least one void selection at the time of a match abandonment, the Build A Bet will be treated as void. This rule applies where one or more selections are still undecided at abandonment and may have won or lost if the game had been completed as scheduled. For example, a Build A Bet including an over total points selection, in a game abandoned while the total points are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total points selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be voided.

Venue Changes

If the venue of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be voided.
